TWINAX
SERIES connectors
are weatherproof, mechanically robust. Having twin contact inserts and threaded
coupling mechanism. These connectors have independent polarized key and
keyway to ensure correct contact alignment before mating. They have a nominal
impedance of 100  and are
matched to twin conductor data transmission cables. These connectors incorporate
v-groove cable clamping mechanism which provide metal to metal contact in
assembly resulting in greater strenght and superior electrical performance.
Due to the improved shielding characteristics offered by the twin connectors
and cable. They are particularly suittable for use in balanced low level
and high sensitivity circuits as in data transmission applications especially
on IBM systems 34. 36.38 installations. |
